It will no doubt take me a while before I record all my repertoire, so here I offer a summary of latest submissions to the site so you'd have an easier time finding the latest records. I will place these summaries in a reverse chronological order - latest on top.

After a long hiatus (went on vacation, and there were many other developments) I returned to the Bluthner (which by the way just had its second anniversary in my home) and recorded another Schubert's piece:
Serenade (Standhen) in D minor (arranged by F. Lizst)
Now, check out what some of our guests are doing! I hope this will inspire others - I promise to provide sheet music, practice time on the piano(s), and audio/visual support...
March 1, 2015
I recorded two Schubert impromptus this weekend:
Impromptu in F minor, Op. 142 No 1.
Impromptu in B flat, Op. 142 No 3.
I've been playing these pieces for more than a month, and frankly I think I could do better than what you will see in these recordings - but March promises to be a very busy month and I don't know when I'll have my next chance to record anything. Who knows, maybe I will record these pieces again in a couple of years and this will then be the basis for comparison...
January 19, 2015
It's been a while since I updated this page - holiday season, all weekends are filled with parties, guests in the house etc. I did continue to play piano but there was no way to record anything. But oh joy - thanks to Martin Luther King we have a long weekend (can we brutally murder someone else so we have more of those?), and I finally recorded a few pieces that I was actively working on of late:
Beethoven - Sonata #17 in D minor (Op. 31 #2), third movement.
Mozart - 12 Variations in C on the French song "Ah vous dirai-je, maman" (K265).
Chopin - Waltz in C sharp minor Op. 64 #2.
Now I will finally move on to Schubert (I did not play him for a few months and I miss him). Also, I started working on one piece that completely blows my mind... but I'm not going to tell you what it is, I don't want to jinx it.

Everyone said they liked the site - thank you all! Now it is going to grow a lot slower since I'm switching to harder pieces.
I made myself a four-day weekend due to Veteran's day and finally recorded the first such addition:
Prokofiev: Montagues and Capulets - Op 75 #6 (Ten pieces from Romeo and Juliet).
But then I thought: I still have an extra day, and I managed to recall and rehearse and record two more pieces!
Schubert: Moment musical in F minor, Op. 94 No 3.
Bach: Gigue from Partita No 1 in B flat major (BVW 825 No 6)
Next up - Beethoven, then more Schubert probably...

I managed to make three recordings this week:
Philip Glass - Orphee's bedroom.
Bach - Prelude No 1 in C from the Well-Tempered Clavier.
Tchaikovsky - Pieces from the Children's Album
This effectively completes everything that I could record without much effort, so I declare victory and am going to officially unveil the site. Also, I made the master list of my whole repertoire.

Finally got around to Mozart:

I finally figured out how to use Vimeo, and more or less conquered iMovie which I use to merge clips from different sources (I now use two cameras, iPhone on the left and iPad on the right, otherwise it is too boring to watch). And today I finally made two recordings within this new framework, a Brahms extravaganza for me today:
This week I'll try to re-record the nocturne and we'll go from there...

Turns out my original plan to host these videos on my own site is unworkable - I tried to show them to Tatiana Mikhailovna and failed miserably on her slow connection. Looks like you have to make several different versions depending on client connection speed and the browser and then figure out how to serve the most appropriate one - this is more than I am prepared to handle so it appears to be much better to put them up on a site like YouTube which will do all this for you professionally. So I opened an account on Vimeo and will start figuring out how that works.

First release is ready! It only has two actual recordings
Chopin's Nocturne Op. 9 #2 in E flat
But I finished working on the web site proper and wrote everything I wanted, now all I have to do is play, record and post...
Early September 2014
I got the idea of recording my piano playing, which quickly morphed into the idea of creating this web site. I spent a couple of weeks to learn how to work with video, purchase some equipment (tripods and a good quality microphone), and also to recall how to make web sites.
